"Holding Things Together Since 1919" SKILL--INTELLIGENCE--INTEGRITY On February 25, 1919, Albert Genter founded Duquesne Mine Supply Company to forge coal-cutting bits. The skill and equipment to make button head coupling pins were added to meet customers needs. As the satisfaction and requirements of the customers grew, and the market expanded, so did the company. Square and hex head bolt capabilities were added. This was the beginning of a major product line which developed into Dukane Fasteners. Although the original equipment has long since been retired, the company commitment to quality and customer service has remained. Duquesne Mine Supply continues to use the treads of the past by weaving in current technology to meet various needs of today's mining industry. The artisan has not been replaced by automated machines. Rather, an interdependence of craft and modern engineering science now exists. We have grown and our markets have expanded, but we continue to supply skill, knowledge and quality to each and every product that carries the "Dukane" name. That is a three generation tradition of which we are very proud.
